Terms of Service

1. What Morgano is

Morgano (morgano.app) is a self-service online tool that turns a staff list you upload (CSV or Excel) into an interactive organisation chart and exportable documents (PDF, PNG, SVG, CSV). It is operated by Excellutions CC, a registered close corporation ("we", "us"). Contact: support@morgano.app — we reply within one business day.

2. Your account

• You sign in with your email address via a single-use link, or with an access token we issue. Keep sign-in links and tokens to yourself — anyone holding them can access your account.
• You must have the right to upload the staff information you place in Morgano (it is typically personal information of your employees, and you remain its responsible custodian).

3. Your data

• It stays yours. Charts and staff data you upload belong to you. We never sell it, share it, or use it for anything except running the service for you.
• You can export everything at any time (CSV, PDF, PNG, SVG), and you can permanently erase your account and its data from the Account page.
• Share links you create give read-only access to a frozen copy of a chart until the expiry date you chose. You are responsible for who you send them to.

4. Plans and payment

• Free plan: build and edit charts without limits, import from any file, and export your data as CSV at any time. PDF, PNG and SVG exports carry a visible "FREE TRIAL" watermark.
• Pro plan — USD 49.95 per year (or ZAR 800 paid in Rand): watermark-free exports, unlimited saved versions, expiring auditor share links, and chart merging. One flat fee per organisation, never per seat.
• Payments are processed by PayPal. We never see or store card details. Subscriptions do not renew silently — a renewal is a payment you make.
• When you get access. Paid features unlock as soon as PayPal confirms the payment — there is nothing to ship and no waiting.
• Refunds. Not what you expected? Email support@morgano.app within 3 days of a payment and we refund it in full — no form, no reason needed. After that, sales are final: Pro delivers its full value instantly, so a longer window would be unfair to the product.
• Cancelling. Cancelling stops the next annual payment; the paid features stay on until the year you paid for runs out. There is nothing to cancel on the free plan.

5. Fair use

Don't attempt to break, overload, or probe the service; don't upload content that is unlawful or that you have no right to hold; don't resell access without our agreement.

6. Honest limits

Morgano is a young product supplied "as is". We work to keep it correct and available, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for anything arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months. Always keep exports of documents you have filed in an audit.

7. Ending things

You may stop using the service and erase your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

The continuity commitment. You are never locked in: everything you build exports to open formats — CSV, PDF, PNG, SVG — at any time. If Morgano ever winds down, we commit to 12 months' notice: the service keeps running for that full year, and we stop taking new subscriptions the day notice is given — so every paid subscription completes, and your next audit is covered.

8. The legal frame

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa. We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above changes when we do, and continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
